I have over 30 years’ experience in the technology field. Over 15 years of that has been as a senior
executive (CTO, VP of Product Development) in three publically-traded companies that more than
tripled their revenues during my tenure.
I have worked for both large companies with thousands of employees (Digital Equipment
Corporation, Teradyne, Data General, Borland, Symantec) and small companies with hundreds of
employees (Gemcom Software International, ON Technology, Open Environment Corporation,
Verbex, Datatrol). This includes startup companies such as OEC which went through the IPO
process. I understand the changes that companies go through as they develop and grow.
I have designed and developed dozens of highly successful software products. I hold six U.S.

services and products.
I have been involved in negotiations with business partners such as Dell, IBM, Intel, HP, Computer
Associates, Microsoft, Netscape, Sun Microsystems, Symbol Technologies, Fujitsu, as well as
dozens of smaller players such as Marimba, InstallShield, Shavlik Technologies, Iona
Technologies, Gradient Technologies, Centennial Software, Funk Software, etc. In these
negotiations my role has typically been to present my company’s products and technologies,
evaluate the products and technologies of the prospective partner, and present proposals for how
both players might benefit from a partnership. Many of these negotiations resulted in successful
marketing, sales and technology-sharing agreements.
I have managed budgets of up to $11M and organizations of over 100 people, including product
management, research, architecture, product development, QA, documentation and IT. This
includes managing international development organizations in the US, Canada, Germany, Japan,
