. BANKING: (Banking Credit Card System Receivables And Collections
Engine) - A integrated software products that provide a total
management system for retail, Bankcard and private label credit
processing.
. Collection System: The Collections system is a product application
which is designed to categorize and treat accounts that need special
handling, primarily to handle past-due accounts, it can be used to
track and analyze other groups of accounts that may or may not need
actual treatment. These groups may include VIPs, lost or stolen cards,
over limit accounts, and bankruptcy cases. Collection system offers
flexible collection strategies based on how customer sets the control
record parameters.
. Collection Master Inquiry: Use the Collection Master Inquiry screens
to view action, memo, maintenance, or master information for accounts
in collections or to request a history display. All records are listed
in chronological order so you can follow account activity from the day
the account entered collections up to the present day.
. Collector Queue Display: Use the Collector Queue Display screens to
examine and select accounts currently in the Collector Queue file.
When you select an account for review, GCOL displays the account on
the Account Locate (GRAL) screen so that you can work the account.

In mobile computing systems, the concept of checkpoint has
dominated as the failure recovery technique. The Objective of this project
is to provide an efficient recovery scheme for mobile applications based on
content based checkpointing and logging. Current approaches take
checkpoints periodically without considering the mobility rate of the user.
In the proposed approach, individual HLR records are saved into a backup
database from time to time. When a failure occurs, the backup record is
restored back to the mobility database.
