Project Details:
Title : Habshan Ruwais Shuweihat Gas Pipeline Project
Scope : Engineering, Procurement and Construction for 123 Kms long, 52” Habshan to Ruwais 108
kms & 48” Ruwais to Shuweihat 15 kms Pipeline along with 5 Block Valve Stations and 20” existing
pipeline demolition
Duration : 26 months
Cost : $180 million
Responsibilities:
Preparing daily, weekly & monthly progress reports and co-ordination with site engineers.
Updation of Overall Project Schedule (Level 4) and Schedule Analysis.
Preparation of Progress S-curves, Manpower & Equipment Histogram for different activities, disciplines & for
overall project.
Finalized the Micro Tunnelling & Thrust Boring sub-contractor of 52” Gas Pipeline Project in UAE.
Preparation of system PO for subcontracted works in L&T's Enterprise Info Portal (EIP) including basic
measurements entry and cross checking for furtherance of hierarchal endorsement.
Handling project activities involving working out various requirements with respect to M/C, Equipments &
Manpower.
Finalizing the specification of materials & establishing quality & quantity limits for inventory control & reducing
wastages.
Coordinating with the Sub-contractors / Vendors to ensure execution of Projects as per budgeted Parameters.
Ensuring completion of assignment within time & cost parameters.
Liaise with Construction Manager/ Spread Foreman with respect to work activity schedule.
Maintaining records on Sub-contract activities.
Currently familiar with Sub-contractors for Civil Works, Mechanical Works, Commissioning Activities, Material
Suppliers, Equipment Suppliers in oil field area, Traders & Distributors in UAE region.
Conduct price, make comparative statement and commercial negotiation up to the rock bottom price to optimize
the purchases within the budgeted amount.
Also involving in procurement activities for Oil & Gas company to procure tools & tackles, consumables, rental
equipment, project equipment etc. by floating enquiries, follow ups for quotations, negotiation, select competitive
quotation, take management approval and issue the Purchase Order. Follow ups for delivery of material at site and
process the invoice of suppliers for payment after taking certification from site representative.
May’08 to Jan’12 at Punj Lloyd Limited, Malaysia (Project Office) as Planning Engineer
Punj Lloyd Group is a diversified global conglomerate providing Engineering & Construction services in Oil & Gas,
Infrastructure and Petrochemicals, and with interests in defence, aviation, marine and upstream sectors with a turn-
over of US 2.4 billion USD.
Project Details:
Title : Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipeline Project
Scope : Engineering, Procurement and Construction for 521 Kms long, 36” Pipeline along with 1
Compressor Station, 2 Metering Station, 1 Gas Chiller Station and 22 Block Valve Stations.
Duration : 42 months
Cost : $700 million
Responsibilities:
Updation of Overall Project Schedule (Level 4) and Schedule Analysis.
Generating Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Report and co-ordination with Engineering, Procurement and
Construction teams for the same.
Communicating project plans on daily/weekly/monthly basis to all the disciplines & following up deliverables and
highlighting backlogs in order to avoid progress bottle-necks and meet project schedule.
Calculating weighted progress & roll up the progress from bottom most level to project level.
Preparation of S-curves for different disciplines & for overall project.
Presentations to Management & Client on fortnightly basis on Schedule Analysis, Discipline wise Progress,
backlog analysis, areas of concern, lookahead and catch up plans.
Preparation of monthly lookahead plan and communicating the periodic targets to construction teams.
November’06 to May’08 at Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar Export Refinery Project as Assistance
Engineer
Reliance Industries Limited is setting up a world scale Export oriented Refinery (Jamnagar Export Refinery Project)
adjacent to it existing World largest Grass root Refinery). This plant is one of the world largest refineries which is
being built and after its completion this place will become the largest refining hub in the world Refinery &
Petrochemical complex with a capacity of 30 MMTPA in a Special Economic Zone.
Responsibilities:
Projection of quantities to Procurement department for timely procurement of materials
Tracking and Issue of materials to Site through SAP
Verification of quantities issued to contractors to ensure proper distribution of materials based on requirement.
Reconciliation of materials issued to contractor to ensure proper billing.
Raising Purchase Requests for miscellaneous items required for construction.
January’06 to October’06 at Ellis Air-condition Division at Ahmedabad as Service Engineer
