Project& Company Description

> Alcatel Lucent Managed Solutions Pvt. Ltd (ALUMS) is a Joint Venture

between Alcatel Lucent and Reliance Communication. ALUMS manage PAN

India mobile network of Reliance CDMA, GSM as well as 3G.

> NNOC is responsible for Surveillance, Fault Management, Configuration

and Network Status Reporting functions. NNOC will follow an interwoven

set of procedures for Network Alarms Monitoring, Trouble Ticketing,

Paging, Notification, Problem Identification, Troubleshooting and

Rectification to facilitate quick resolution of ISP faults.

Job Responsibilities

> Rectifying network related faults of Reliance CDMA,GSM and 3G Networks

that include different vendors LUCENT,ZTE,HUAWEI,MOTOROLA.

> Analysis of fault in the interface between BSC and MSC troubleshooting

that from remotely.

> Providing Technical support and guidance to Circle Engineers and Field

Personnel as per the requirements.(regarding Voice and Data Traffics,E1 Status,Power related alarms, Major Outages)

> Coordinate with Transmission Team to ensure end to end connectivity of

media using Loop-Break and BER test.

> Analyzing and proper diagnosis of various cards in BTS and

troubleshooting the card functioning in co-ordination with Circle

Team.

> Logging, rectification and clearance of fault conditions achieving

minimal downtime.

> Analyzing daily outage reports and taking necessary action to prevent

the occurrences.

> Coordinating all network activities i.e. work orders, planned network,

site access, outages and maintenance.

> Coordinating with Core Team regarding BSC and RNC outages.

> Escalation of appropriate faults to RAN second line maintenance and

OSS Engineers.

> Operation, Maintenance and Configuration of EVDO Networks.

> Analyzing all network status reports, performance statistics, and

customer falls for appropriate fix and escalation with different

guidelines.

> Update Daily Report, Faulty Devices Report other relevant reports.

In Packet Core

> Handling Cisco CGSN-ST16/ASR5000, Huawei SGSN9810, GGSN

> Alarm Monitoring of SGSN, NSVC'S.HLR and Gb links

> Troubleshooting For 2G & 3G Packet Core Nodes-CGSN(ASR-5000) and HLR

> Routine Heath Checkup of CGSN and HLR

> Customer Complaint Resolution.

> Handling data call related issues.

> Netrac (NetKT) from TTI Telecom for centralized Alarm monitoring.

> Remedy user (AR System) from BMC Software for Trouble Ticket
