Objective: My objective is to be a valuable professional leader with my position. I am willing to learn and
be a team player. My philosophy stands firm in knowing that we have to start somewhere through guidance
and teaching with ways to benefit from the product of work we do. My goal is to create a positive work
environment where advancement opportunities are rewarded through growth and hard work. I want to gain

Sequel Family & Youth Services: Tuskegee, AL Dates: 3/05/12- Present
Supervisor/Student Care Worker: My duties consists of working with youth in a DYS and DHR setting. My
job is to aide the students in their learning processes to correct behavioral issues that were presented for areas
of need with teaching, discipline, and implementation of services within guidelines of the agency.
Supervisory duties include the following: updating paperwork daily to ensure accuracy, assign staff duties,
email paperwork to Unit Director, conduct staff briefings, maintain weekly time cards and other related
duties.
Lee County Youth Development Center: Opelika, AL Dates: Oct. 14, 2002-Oct. 27, 2011
2002-2004 Title: Correctional Youth Care Worker in the Detention facility: Duties included observation of
youth, mentoring groups on preventive behaviors, maintaining security of building.
2004- Title: Intake Officer for personnel. Duties included as follow: checking in new intakes on arrival,
completing administrative paperwork from the courts, supervising intake area, made sure youth signed all
paperwork on admission, and other related duties.
2004-2006 - Title: Shift Supervisor - Duties were as follow: Supervised the shift as required by job duties,
completed administrative duties such as, scheduling, completing monthly reports, interviewing, counseling
staff as needed, conduct staff meetings, and other related duties as necessary.
2006-2011 Title: Residential Specialist -Duties included as follow: Provided treatment to the intensive youth
in the program such as follow: daily group interactions for learning, recommendations to therapists of any
changes in behaviors/suicide risks, and teaching basic living skills.
