Manager Supply Chain Planning

Responsible for the smooth flow of materials to and through the plant and

all aspects of inventory management, reporting, and control. Work closely

with manufacturing personnel to recommend plant production schedules in

line with business plans and production capabilities. Work closely with

designated Supply Chain, Commercial, Logistics and Manufacturing personnel

on issues involving scheduling/production problems, capacity planning and

interplant issues. Assist as required, in the development and

recommendation of strategies to improve Manufacturing's ability to

react/accommodate schedule changes with minimum disruption and loss of

efficiency. Utilize MRP system to manage material flow and work

prioritization. Enters and maintains production forecast for all finished

goods considered to be standard products. Monitors and reports on key

measurements such as costs of on-hand inventory, daily shipment (product

requirements of the business. Develop and implement objectives, strategies,

and tactics for materials management to drive inventory levels down while

improvements in inventory turnover and on-time-delivery (OTD) performance

Sales and Marketing to capture, document and adjust the forecast to reflect

changes in demand patterns due to market dynamics, new product launches,
