MINI PROJECT DETAILS
“SHADOW ALARM”
This project is aimed in developing low cost security device to protect valuables in houses and showrooms. It is opto
sensitive circuit that sounds an alarm whenever a shadow falls on it. A dim lighting in the room is necessary to detect the moving
shadow. It detects the presents of moving shadow within
the range of its set sensitivity and subsequently raises an alarm. This system mainly consist of Light Dependent Resistor(LDR)as
Light Sensor,Comperator(IC741),Monostable Multivibrator(NE555),Switches and LEDs.

PROJECT DETAILS
“LINEAR SYSTEM REALISER” (LSR)
This project is based on FFT and developed using VHDL. A fast Fourier transform (FFT) is an efficient
algorithm used to calculate the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and its inverse. Generally it is known as
Cooley Tukey FFT algorithm, and these algorithms are based on divide and conquer approach. In this
approach N point DFT is successfully decomposed into smaller DFTs.The system consists of 8 point FFT
processor,multiplier unit, IFFT unit and output unit.LSR is highly applicable in Optics,geology and
Communication field. We designed N point FFT in VHDL HDL and simulated using Mentor Graphics Xilinx
10.0. 4 point, 16 point FFT block was tested using stimulus blocks. Future research can be done on this
project by implementing the same in the Field Programmable Gate Arrays.

‘ON LINE BLOOD BANK’’
This Software project done during the course on J2EE.This is a Demonstration of an Online Blood Banking concept,
which connects Hospitals, Blood banks and Individual blood donors and acceptors.
This is developed using Net Beans IDE 6.8.

“AUTONOMOUS DEPLOYMENT OF THE UAVSAR RADAR INSTRUMENT”
This is about some Radar instrument attached to an aircraft in order to take pictures of objects and
landscapes. The UAVSAR program was formed to provide repeat pass radar interferometry on an uninhabited aircraft
platform. The UAVSAR imaging radar system is housed in an external unpressurized pod that may be attached to an
Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The UAVSAR flight computer is referred to as the Automatic Radar Controller (ARC). The
ARC communicates with a Radar Operator Workstation (ROW) to receive updated real time operational commands and to
download up to date hardware status and telemetry.
