Project 1:

Project Title : Storm II - Operational Reporting.

Client : Standard Chartered Bank.

Role : Data Modeler and report developer.

Environment : OBIEE 11g, Oracle 11g, Linux.

Project description:

STORMII & STREAM OBIEE project is a Reporting System Initiative which

focuses on designing Country Dashboards consisting a set of reports used

for following:

. Client Reporting - Reports sent to clients to fulfill their

requirements

. Regulatory Reporting - Reports required by the regulators

. Audit reporting - Reports required to cover audit

. Functional/Operational Reporting - Reports required for day to day

function/operation

. MIS reporting - Reports for update Management /stakeholders

These reports are for SCB operational users sitting in front office and

their clients with the selected financial and Non- Financial

metrics/information. This reporting system initiative focuses on designing

different Country and Global Dashboards and to automate and publish the

dashboards on an online and real time interface apart from creating a

metadata repository for creating Adhoc reports. This system will be

released to SCB operational users and front office users to support their

day to day operational reporting requirements (traditionally done by NCS or

other third party tools such as spreadsheet or VB basic programs) . The

main objective is to give the Bank more user friendly GUI based reporting

solution where apart from predefined reports and dashboards they can make

own customized reports by themselves.

Responsibilities:

Project Title : Clinical decision support system.

Client : A healthcare major in US.

Role : BI Developer.

Project description:

The requirement was to provide the key metrics to the top management

of the hospital to operate efficiently and to comply the US healthcare

quality and reporting standards set by Joint Commission International.

Following KPAs are designed in Financial and Quality dashboards:

. Hospital mortality rate by disease

. Hospital mortality rate by age demographic group (infant, adult male,

adult female, new born etc)

. Month wise incidents of hospital acquired infection

. Disease wise incidents of hospital acquired infection

. Top ten diseases by revenue generation

. Top 10 rooms by revenue generation

. Top insurance plans by revenue generation

Responsibilities:

. Primary responsibilities include gathering business requirements,

designing the functional and technical specifications.

. Involved in Creating and Administering the Physical Layer, Business

Model & Mapping Layer and Presentation Layer using Oracle Business

Intelligence Admin tool.

. Created connection pools, physical tables, defined joins and

implemented authorizations in the physical layer of the repository.

. Created Dimensional Hierarchy, Level based Measures and Aggregate

navigation in BMM layer.

Description:

It is one of the leading healthcare insurance providers in U.S,

earlier they used a legacy system which is not actually helping them to

achieve the business goal of the company, to overcome this problem they

have started a program called MDM. MDM project will be using Informatica to

create interfaces to handle the functionalities that exist in current

system. The project also involves implementing the OBIEE Reports. Each

interface deals with different functionality and different set of system

for getting and publishing data. Data which is published by the interface

will be used by an application for user to make any updates required.
