Ph.D Research Work
• Title of the work is ‘UV-Visible Spectrophotometric assay of few drugs’. It
involves testing the quality of an unknown drug by the interaction of drug with
UV, Visible radiation. After extensive literature survey the selected methods are
Ion-Association Complex, Difference Absorbance, Charge Transfer Complex and
Cerimetric methods. All the methods are validated statistically by proving
accuracy, precission, specificity, limit of detection and linearity range. Methods
are accurate, less expensive, convenient, sensitive, reproducible and involve
simple instrumentation.
