Bankruptcy/Foreclosure Litigation Assistant

As a litigation assistant for a Creditor’s/Plaintiff’s attorney, I supported both a Partner and Senior Counsel of the firm within Chapter 11, 7 and foreclosure cases.

Responsible for maintaining attorney calendars, ensuring all deadlines were met in accordance with Court Orders and hearing dates were docketed by coordinating with our docketing team which included monitoring the judge’s calendars and dockets daily through PACER.

Work with Loss Prevention Department to order pre-engagement and conflict checks for new clients and matters and then create intake through “FLOW”.

Responsible for making travel arrangements, applying for reimbursements for travel and meal expenses through “Chrome River” and coordinating telephonic appearances through both Court Call and by maintaining relationships with the Clerk’s office.
