Objective Seeking a mechanical engineering full-time.

Available for immediate employment.

Education

Colorado School of Mines: Golden, CO M.S. Dec 2011

Major: Mechanical Engineering 3.36 GPA

Dalian University of Technology: Dalian, Liaoning China B.S. Sep 2009

Double Major: Energy and Dynamic Engineering, Computer Science 3.46 GPA

Engineering Projects / Working Experience

Since July 16th 2012

Temporary Full-time at Ecocion Inc.

Responsible for interpreting compliance documents and data analysis/entry, as well as assisting on other client

projects as necessary. Expand oil and gas industry knowledge in the consulting/engineering field.

Optimal Integration of a Gas Turbine into a Natural Gas Pipeline for Power Generation. Spring / 2011

Team Leader: Project involved building a combined thermodynamic and economic model in EES to optimize

the integration of system components to minimize the total cost of system. Responsible for programming in

EES. A solution with practical value was achieved. Project was well done.

Modeling NO Concentration profile in a Parallel Plate Flow Chamber in COMSOL. Spring / 2011

Responsible for building models in COMSOL, and writing an instruction of model running procedures to be

used by following undergraduate students. Project successfully simulated heat and mass transport processes of

Nitric Oxide in the model.

Chemical Deposit Film Design Spring / 2010

Solo Project: Deliver a uniform film over deposition zones in eight 75-mm wafers. Responsible for writing

code by integrating DASSL into Fortran to solve differential-algebraic-equation. Program results exactly

showed the deposition process of chemical reaction product.

Research Experience

Thesis: Vaporization characteristics of monodispersed multicomponent fuel droplets in an opposed stagnation

flow. Sponsor: Office of Naval Research (ONR) via Grant N00014-08-0539.

Modeling flame-droplet interactions in non-premixed opposed-flow flames using Fortran program.

Research included study of effects of liquid-fuel thermophysical properties, carrier-gas composition, and

pressure on strained opposed flow non-premixed flames. Fortran was used to calculate the profiles of fuel

droplet parameters in the spray and reaction process.

Modeling heater reactor in Colorado Fuel Cell Center (CFCC) using Ansys (Fluent).

Comprehensive application of heat transfer, fluid dynamics and chemical reaction to get uniform temperature

profile in the deposition reaction surface. Project at CFCC is ongoing.
