Project #1: Implementation of CMOS Camera Device Driver based
on ARM9
Technologies used: C language.

Description:
The aim of the project is to implement the CMOS camera device
driver based on SCCB and S3C2440 (ARM) processor. SCCB is a distinguishing
feature of OV series CMOS chips. The realization of SCCB on ARM9 embedded
platform is emphasized. S3C2440 provides a camera interface, and the camera
driver is designed based on it. Then the process of the application is
introduced. The experiences show that the driver works well for video
previewing and coding. The driver can be easily applicant on other embedded
equipment.
Project #2: Traffic Light Priority Control for Emergency
Vehicles.

Duration: 6 months
Description:
The purpose of the system is to save people who are health wise in critical
conditions by clearing the traffic and giving the way to the vehicle using
RF technology and buzzer indication.
In this project we place a RF receiver for each one of the traffic lights.
RF is having the frequency of 434 MHz for transmission and reception. The
emergency vehicles will have the RF transmitter which continuously emits
the signals. When the emergency vehicle is reached nearer to the traffic
lights, the signals are received by the receiver presented at the traffic
light and according to the priority the way is given to the emergency
vehicle.
Project #3: Water Level Indicator with Alarm
Technologies Used: Embedded C.
Duration: 3 months.
Description:
This circuit indicates the amount of water present in the overhead
tank and gives an alarm when the tank is full. The circuit uses the widely
available CD4066, bilateral switch CMOS IC to indicate the water level
through LEDs. When the water is empty the wires in the tank are open
circuited and the 180K resistors pulls the switch low hence opening the
switch and LEDs are OFF. As the water starts filling up, first the wire in
the tank connected to S1 and the + supply are shorted by water. This closes
the switch S1 and turns the LED1 ON. As the water continues to fill the
tank, the LEDs2, 3, 4 light up gradually. The no. of levels of indication
can be increased to 8 if 2 CD4066 ICs are used in a similar fashion.
