FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY

I have been a Precast and Cast Stone drafter for 24 years, the most of which has been done with the use of CAD. I take great pride in accurate and aesthetically pleasing layout drawings, and the ability to draw them in a timely manner. I also pride myself on keeping an organized and clean work space.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

I’ve drafted a wide variety of projects ranging from residential to commercial. During the past 24 years, I’ve had the opportunity to build good working relationships with several Sub-Contractors, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers in the Northeast region of the United States. I’ve learned good communication skills through various methods (I.e., phone conversations, RFI’s via fax and E-mail communiqués).

The projects that I’ve had the privilege to work on included precast and cast stone items such as: Banding, sills (lugged and slip), base panels, water-table, detailed fascia, ornamentation, coping, pavers, stair treads, columns, signage, cornice, surrounds and balustrade.

I’ve also worked on restoration projects. In this process, various items would be shipped to our plant, and there I would take measurements and make templates of the profiles, and then replicate those items in a CAD layout.

I’ve also assisted the Estimating department, by doing Take-offs for potential projects.

Provide information to our engineer for completion of layouts.

Awards: 3 of the 5 Cast Stone Institute awards won by SUN Precast in 2010, as well as 2 of the 4 awards won in 2011, were projects that I had the pleasure to work on.
