Orchestrated turnaround and sale. Sterling Paint Manufacturing and Retail lacked effective inventory and production management programs. Led customization and installation of inventory, production and ERP control systems. Adopted wireless bar coding and cycle counting programs. Improved efficiency, on-time delivery and sales 12%.
ERP system Implementations. At Maybelline, PACCAR and Pouland / Weed Eater either lead or participated on teams to install updated ERP systems.
Established bid program. Using PMBOK methodology at AFMC established bid process and team. Captured $84M in government contract awards.
CAREER - MANUFACTURING
VP – Finance, Sterling Paint Manufacturing and Retail, 2001 to 2003. $11M paint manufacturer and retail company. Customized and implemented ERP system. Rebuilt inventory program, implementing internal controls. Oversaw MIS, reporting, treasury, collections, distribution center, logistics, all accounting functions, a $1M budget and 11 staff.
Plant Accounting Manager, Maybelline Cosmetics, 1992 to 1996. Compiled $53M plant budget / operating plan. Supervised general and cost accounting functions. Prepared shop floor performance measures and variance analysis. Develop input for standard product costing. On implementation team installing a comprehensive ASI ERP system.
