Work experience

Working for ESSAR STEEL LTD, HAZIRA

From 2th JUN 2007 to till date.

Present level : Assistant Manager

Nature of work: Working as mechanical maintenance engineer I am under

taking all mechanical and production related jobs for better and 100%

availability of plant for production. Working in area incharge as well as

shift duty as an in charge.

Performance in operation

. Operating skill of briquetting machine in HBI plant of ESSAR steel ltd

for more than 1 years.

. Operating skill of blowers, compressors, and utility.

. Operating knowledge of basic hydraulic system.

Performance in maintenance

. As a Assistant Manager I am under taking these all responsibilities

. Maintenance of Briquetting machines of Koppern such as- static gap

checking &

adjusting; cheek plate checking & built up;

synchronization of roller; ram replacement; wear plates, pedestal &

separator teeth checking; retorqueing of roller; roller replacement;

spillage work etc.

. Maintenance of Compressors, Pumps and Fans through continuous

monitoring of vibration,temperature,pressure etc.

. Maintenance of Hydraulic equipments such as- double acting cylinders,

slide gates,

. Pumps checking & replacement, pressure adjusting, hydraulic line

puncture arresting & modifications, filters cleaning & changing.

. Overhauling of rotary equipment's such as pumps, compressors, gear

boxes,hyd cylinders, fans, different types of valves etc...

. Continuous monitoring of lubrication of all the equipments of the plan

. Involved with job planning, its implementation, equipment

availability, and maintaining

the equipments such as Blowers, Cooling towers, Mesh belts, Drag

Chains, Furnace, various bellows etc.

. inventory availabity during breakdowns and annual shutdowns

. Lead the team for training Technicians, giving them correct

orientation.

. Shut down maintenance of furnace and reformer both inside the vessel

as well as out side the vessel.

ADDITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE:-

Worked as piping engineer:-

In that Re-Routing of Existing Pipelines and connecting to the new areas in

the part of plant expansion .Working on this project Megha module of Cold

DRI plant of Essar steel in Hazira.

Task executed: Interference checking and providing design for piping

layout, piping plans, isometric drawings, and as-built drawings

preparation, Preparation of piping isometric spool drawing & Material take

off. Preparation of Plot Plan, Piping layouts, Piping isometrics etc.

Selection of fittings flanges and valves etc. Preparing the design of

racks. Preparation of technical specification of piping materials.

Application of various types of supports such as Rest, Guide, Stop, Hanger,

Material selection as per process factor requirements.
