Manager of Retirement Plans, North America
• Directed the design, relationships and administration for two U.S. Defined Contribution Plans (one
Safe Harbor and one traditional) with combined assets over $158M, one Defined Benefit Plan valued at
$320M with 38 distinct components and 13,991 eligible participants represented by 8 collective
bargaining agreements across the U.S. Managed three Defined Benefits Plans and two Defined
Contribution Plans in Canada.
• Led the restatement of three Plan Documents, negotiated two contracts to restate the Plan Document,
and outsourced the Defined Benefit Plan administration, liaison with TPA in the creation of a Central
Repository, a custom build platform and Employee Self Service tool for use in calculating pension
estimates as well as actual pension benefits.
• Saved $58K in attorney’s fees by implementing a negotiated flat fee arrangement.
• Saved an additional $60K in attorney’s fees over a 3-year period as a result of a negotiated pro-bono
arrangement to steer compliance issues over the same period.
• Saved $20K for the revision of 30 new Summary Plan Discretion representing the Defined Benefits and
two Defined Contribution Plans.

• Restated plan document for the DB Plan, reducing it substantially, removing all scribers’ errors and
redundancies captured during a period of over 10 years of acquisitions, and creating an updated record-
keeping platform.
• Managed the outsourcing of administration for the DB plan; established a disaster recovery process for
the DB Plan.
• Eliminated 3,000 man hours annually by introducing an Employee Self Service “ESS” tool.
