Deployed as an Arabic Linguist, Prepare non-technical translations into the target language and
performing sight translations from a native Iraqi Arabic language into English. Provide general
linguistic support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and
conferences. Interpret and translate written and spoken communications. Transcribe and analyze
verbal communications. Perform document exploitation: Scan, research and analyze foreign
language documents for key information. Translate and review foreign language
documents. Identify and extract information components meeting military information

language (Writing, Speaking and Reading) and the Iraqi Dialect to US Military personnel
stationed at Camp Victory. Assists military personnel and foreign to speaking Iraqi basic dialect
and long conversations and Arabic Greetings. Provide general linguistic in Egypt (for 2 years)
supporting Iraqi military trainings in Egypt and interpret during interviews, meetings, and
conferences. Interpret and translate written and spoken communications in Iraqi dialect to
English and Egyptian dialect to English and vice versa. Transcribe and analyze verbal
communications. Provided and Integrated basic Iraqi Culture with language by USIS the
contractor company with US DOD to train Iraqi police in Camp Dublin, Camp Dublin is CT-SO
(Counter Terrorist/Special operations) training camp and DFS Logistics LLC is a contracted to
provide base-operating support (BOS) as well as to facilitate the transition of base support to the
Iraq Minister of Interior (IMOI). The focus of this contract is to support the civilian police
assistance, (CPATT), Special Police Development Division (SPDD) and Special Forces in
assisting IMOI with building self sufficient and mission capable specialized law enforcement
organizations and dignitary protection services armed with the necessary tools and skills required
to address Iraqi's anticipated future security environment and foster long term sustainability.
Camp Dublin is a 2000 man camp that trains Iraqi Special Forces and Iraqi Police in Anti
Terrorist activities. It was first sponsored by the American State Department, but has recently
been turned over to the Iraqi Army
