Resume:

Jimmie Monroe

**** ********** **** **.

Fitchburg, Ma. 01420

This resume is an overview of the past 33 years my association in the tooling industry. I am currently looking for a job in the north central area of North Carolina (Burlington). While I am currently a program manager, I have spent more than half of my career as a moldmaker building close tolerance tooling, and much of the remainder in a position which is still primarily related to moldmaking. A position as a tooling manager or a tooling engineer are where I am best suited and where the companies I have worked for have had the greatest benefit. Understanding of mold design, steel selection, product moldability, and proper design practices for long term mold longevity, as well as machining processes required are strong points. However I am not a mold designer – meaning I am not proficient in the use of Cad to draw molds, but am a basic user of both Pro-E & Solidworks and can use either package to interrogate 3D models and 2D drawings, as well as file transfers and using Cad files and prints to make marked up demonstrations in PowerPoint or Adobe as needed.

I am also quite comfortable in the area of vendor selection and management, and a problem solver in the area of mold qualification and debug.

I will provide contacts and references upon request.

Please call with any questions or comments. You can reach me at the following numbers:
