. Directed and implemented a $5 million Federal Grant to develop New System
of Care for two counties through the local Community Mental Health Center
in North Carolina
. Performed extensive grant-writing to secure mental health services for
communities such as Safe Houses in Northern MN to obtain material for
work with inner city children labeled with emotional/behavioral
disorders, and to obtain funds for transitional housing for homeless
families
. Developed Behavioral Intervention Plans and Crisis Intervention
Programming for children in inner cities
. Developed tools, medication groups, to facilitate and improve
effectiveness of client visits with Psychiatrists, resulting in much more
cost-effectiveness to Center
