: Angola, Africa Offshore (Jan 2012 to present)

Duties and Responsibilities: Process Instrument Commissioning

. Walk down on all sub-system and updating all the drawings on actual

field installation base on the piping & instrument diagram (P&ID).

. Testing, calibration and maintenance during pre start-up of the system

on the temperature, pressure, flow, level transmitter on/of valves &

control valves instrument/device using hart 375/475 communicator.

. Hot and cold loop checks and functional test of field instruments and

signals to central control room (CCR) via hard wiring and serial link.

. Correction of wiring termination in the junction box cabinet &

instrument technical room (ITR).

. Doing as build on the instrument loop diagram (ILD) & mark up for any

changes or discrepancies.

. Use the permit to work system before work on the assign system & sub-

system.

. Making the Instrument test report (ITR-B) for every loop completed.

. Involve in the tri-party walk down with the client (BP).

. Assist on vendor to test the skid system communication to ICSS

(Integrated Control Safety System).

. Involve in doing the by-pass on on/off valves & control valves for the

preparation for test pack for N2 leak testing.

. Involve on doing dressing of the capillary tubing, inspection of pad

cell sensor of level, pressure & flow transmitter.

. Coordinating the schedule of torque of flanges of all transmitter with

Halliburton.

. Doing the as built on all loop drawing of Safety Instrumented System

(SIS), Process Automation System (PAS), HVAC, & Fire & Gas System as

per Engineering new revision drawings.

. Installing End of line & do function test with the ICSS system

Engineer on SIS,PAS & F & G system.

. Assigned as a PA(performing authority) to create WCC(work control

certificate) & identify the hazard of the job scope & make sure that

the control for hazard are in all in-place, walk down with the AA(area

authority) to verify the WCC & discuss about the risk assessment.

Location: Keppel Tuas Shipyard, Singapore.

Duties and Responsibilities: Construction Instrumentation

. Assigned for the E/I construction, installation of the field

instruments, pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, level

transmitter, flow transmitter, control valves & on-off valves.

. Prepare daily manpower activities for the contractor and align work

base on the project schedule to assure completion date to be met.

. Inspection on all the instruments completely installed by the

contractor as per P & ID, layout diagram, data sheet, cable block

diagram, termination diagram & hook up drawing.

. Making the instrument test report (ITR-A); installation ITR, cable

ITR, junction box ITR.

. Do the tri-party walk down with the client (woodside).

encountered on the device/instrument on actual field & correction for

. Field simulation for graphic checked in Cargo Control Room and to

ensure the proper orientation of instruments and correct address to

the Input/ Output card/ module.

. Faultfinding and immediate implementation of discrepancies as per data

sheets, specifications and standards.

drawings on actual field installation.

. Preparing the report on punch list for any problem/abnormality

encountered on the device/instrument on actual field & correction for

wiring termination in the junction box cabinet & local equipment room

(LER).

. Testing, calibration and maintenance during pre start-up of the system

on the combustible/toxic gas detector, flame detectors, smoke

. Pump motor testing and reliability run test thru VFD (variable

frequency driver) and signals to central control room (CCR) via device

net.
