Electrical machine maintenance, electronic instrumentation (plc’s, cnc’s, motor controls, all types of
digital/analog circuits/equipment) maintenance, and machine electrical upgrades/retrofits. Besides
electrical functions, I also perform basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motor, and encoder repair.
2011-2013 Odd jobs I did to reacquaint my skill set in specific areas, I worked in prior to joining the electrical union
(union electrical work is slow and currently more commercial type, were as, I am an industrial electrician type).
I performed MACHINE TOOL REPAIR and ELECTRONIC COMPONENT LEVEL TROUBLESHOOTING at an
independent automation repair contractor.
I refreshed my skills in CNC MACHINE MAINTENANCE and some PLANT MAINTENANCE at a metal working
production shop.
I also worked, as a SERVICE TECHNICIAN, on electronic industrial and commercial weighing systems, this
allowed me to refamiliarize myself with digital instrumentation programming, installation, and troubleshooting.
1999-2011 I am employed as a Journeyman Electrician, currently laid off. Some of my duties varied to include
working as a foreman, multiple times, (I once managed at max 23 electricians, min 13 on the hummer project),
drove service truck for various contractors, worked as a construction electrician on new building projects, provided
machinery wiring installation, and other associated electrician functions.
1990-1999 I was self-employed as an Industrial Contractor performing Electronic/Electrical maintenance duties.
1987-1990 I was employed by several non-union Electrical Contractors performing Electronic duties and learning
to be an electrician.
1986-1987 I was employed to Start up Indiana Toll 80/90, built a test center to troubleshoot all hardware installed
on the Toll Road. Test center was also used to debug the software.
1984-1986 I was employed by a weighing systems Controls Manufacturer performing Electronic repair, Fabricating
test fixtures, and providing factory Customer Support, over the telephone, to the dealer network in the USA and
Canada.
1979-1984 I was employed as a Field Technician, and Service Manager, performing all types of field service, in the
industrial/commercial electronic/mechanical/hydraulic weighing systems industry.
1979-1981 I attended College for Electronic Engineering, I graduated and obtained a FCC First Class,
Radar Endorsed Communications License.
