Perform maintenance on U.S. Military Mine Resistant Ambush Protected

(MRAP) and Route Clearance vehicles. Rebuild/repair armored vehicles

that have sustained battle damage. Troubleshoot; diagnose electrical

and mechanical faults using voltmeters, J-Pro, MSD, One Tool and

Minidiag diagnostic equipment. Install, reset and adjust vehicle

system parameters using diagnostic laptops/tools in engine electronic

control modules, transmission control modules and vehicle control

transmissions, transfer cases, water pumps, fuel pumps, etc. Vehicles

of maintenance responsibility include RG-31 MK3,MK5,MK5E, XM1229 MMPV

Buffalo MK1,Mk2,A2.With the Buffalo A2 being highest priority,

perform extensive repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on major

systems and components, repair/replace engines, transmissions,

transfer cases, axles, wiring harnesses, interrogation arm and air

digger system repairs. Troubleshoot, perform function tests, and

repairs of vehicle ABS system, isolate mechanical, electrical,

While working under the supervision of AM General as an independent

contractor for ShipTech America, I performed 10/20 to depot level

maintenance on M998, M1114, M1116, M1025, M1097A1 and M1097A2

vehicles. Other responsibilities included the supervision at times of

up to four men team of trained professionals. Troubleshoot, diagnose

and repair all vehicle system and components. Replace/rebuild/repair

block heads, gaskets, seals, injection pumps, fuel injectors, front

and rear main seals, axles, half-shafts, transmission, transfers

boosters and master cylinders, hydraulic actuated engine fan and

electronic components. Our combined efforts as a whole returned over

380 fully mission capable vehicles back onto the battlefield in
