I was responsible for helping my assigned teacher in her DD (Developmentally Delayed) classroom. We taught K-2nd grade. My main responsibility was a 5yr. old student with Cerebral Palsy. I assisted her to walking with her walker and AFO’s (braces). I walked her to her kindergarten classes, her resource classes, the bathroom, lunch, and to her bus or daycare van. I assisted with her fine motor skills such as writing and cutting. If she is absent, I assisted with the other children by helping with their math, writing, or cutting (for those who can’t do it for themselves).

I was responsible for the care of the two and three year old children that attend the daycare. I helped them try to write their names, and know their colors and shapes. I helped potty train them. I helped serve them breakfast, lunch, and snack. I helped put them in their cots for nap. I also helped organize applications, rules and regulations, and papers for permission to give emergency care for the child for the registration process. I also helped with taking payment from parents and writing the receipts and marking it in the payment books.

My position entailed information retrieval for customers who have home mortgages with the company. I was responsible for preparing paper files to be filmed, and then loaded into microfiche jackets. This process is needed for the customer to close, repurchase, or sell their homes.

I was responsible for keeping customer areas maintained at the Richmond International Airport. I was also responsible for cleaning office spaces throughout the airport.

I was responsible for loading and unloading luggage and mail on an airplane. I also cleaned the seats, bathrooms, kitchens, and floors on the plane. I did a little bit of data entry. I also helped in guiding the plane in and out of the airport.

I was responsible for filling out stock orders for small auto part dealers. I would pick parts that were on the order and put them in my basket. When I was done, I would take the completed order to the shipping area to be boxed and sent to the dealer. I also helped with the inventory in the warehouse.
