Experience
Research Assistant
Stony Brook University - SUNY, New York, USA
2011 - 2012
. Prepared different kinds of metal Nanoparticles by thermal decomposition
with 3 different solvents, characterized the particles by SEM, TEM, BET,
XRD to observe their particle sizes, distributions and decomposition
kinetics.
. Analyzed the data and compared the different properties of the
nanoparticles prepared from different solvents. Evaluated the
adoptability of the nanoparticles as catalysts in industry.
Research Assistant
State Key Laboratory for Advanced Metals and Materials in China
2008 - 2011
. Tested the pore distribution, acid and alkali corrosion resistance and
electrochemical properties with mercury intrusion poremaster, ICP, SEM
and electrochemical integrated test system.
. Evaluated the adoptability of high Nb-TiAl porous alloy materials as
hydrogen electrodes and compare with traditional electrode materials
which were usually nickel alloy.
Research Assistant
University of Science & Technology Beijing, China
2008
. Researched the corrosion resistance of Q235 carbon steel and Q450 and
Corten-A weathering steel, conducted insolation tests in the marine
climate of Xisha islands in south of China; tested the corrosion rates;
observed the macro and micro structures, elements distribution and rusty
scale with SEM & XRD.
