As a contractor for Animas, I review medical regulations from the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and

system design documents from current medical devices and develop high level requirements. I developed,

maintain and decompose those requirements in Caliber. I participate in the research and development of a new

insulin pump that is being developed at this time. I interact with the design engineers, software engineers,

marketing and clinical folks to gather information that will help design the software and hardware requirements

for this new design. I review all engineering technical documents (i.e. system design, configuration definition,

etc.) to ensure accuracy and collect historical data. I am authoring the Product Design Document, Configuration

Definition and Design document for the new insulin pump.

W hile working for BAE Systems I was the Systems Engineering Manager for the logistics group. I had six

different elements, Technical Data, Packing & Shipping, Logistics, Configuration Management, Hardware

Management, and finance that reported to me. I oversaw the day to day functions and participated in the

computer program configuration and quality control process. I had a total of 30 team members. During that time,

I presented to the customer a process improvement recommendation that turned into a multimillion dollar

contract of which I was the Program Manager/Contract Manager. I was responsible for not only contract

deliveries but contract fiscal reports as well. This effort, I had five teams wi th a total of 20 people located across

the US. I was responsible for reviewing, preparing cost and technical analysis of Combat Weapon System

Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for both software and hardware improvements. I participated in change

control board meetings by representing the engineering division of the AEGIS TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE

office and the AEGIS TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE (Navy Captain). I was a team lead for the development,

training and implementation of a Navy configuration database that was used by the Navy AEGIS Program

Office and two shipyards
