I am currently a medical transcriptionist working from my home as an independent contractor. I have been a transcriptionist for over 12 years. I worked for a large hospital for 6 years. I recently have been working for a company who outsources for large hospitals and many clinics who has lost some of their contracts due to unexpected situations and clinics switching to EMR. I am looking to acquire work from a company who needs a transcriptionist to supply transcribed reports in a professional, confidential manner and remain working from my home. I have wireless high-speed internet and a USB foot pedal, Olympus Player Pro, Windows 7, many Stedman’s resource books and I have experience with ESL doctors.
