Key Qualification

Post Graduate in Civil Engineering from IIT, Madras with over 22 years of

Professional experience on various National Highway works including

Pavement Quality Concrete(PQC), Bridges along with approaches / Cross-

drainage Structures and Push type Underpasses, other structural engineering

projects and Multi-Storied Buildings in various parts of India. Experienced

in Projects, funded by International financial institutions and local

government agencies and is familiar with Highway and Bridges. Planning,

Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) and DLC. The types of bridges include pre-

cast prestressed, T and U beams, post-tensioned I-girder, voided slabs

both reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, reinforced and pre-stressed

concrete box-girder, bridges curved in plan for urban interchanges and

steel bridges and all types of foundations. Example: Pile Foundation, Well

Foundation, & open Foundation.

Responsibilities include construction organization and deployment of

resources inputs-machinery, men, materials, funds, contract implementation

of construction works, Construction supervision, project management

including preparation of work plans, construction supervision manuals,

Quality assurance manuals, Working drawings, Mix designs, Quality control

of materials and works including sampling, as per

ASTM/BSI/MORTH/IRC standards and contract specification; design & drawing

equipment, quality control during all phases of execution of structures and

ensuring their completion within time schedule, Checking and design of

scaffolding of bridges, taking measurements of completed works,

certification of bill for the sub-contractor, preparation of monthly

progress reports and liaisoning with consultants and contractors. I have

also carried out the cross drainage works and maintained Quality Control

measures as per Ministry of Road and Transport and IRC specifications. I

was also involved in identification of sources of materials to be used in

CD works and road works and established effective co-ordination with

Consultants and contractors.
