WEAR CHARACTERISTICS OF ALUMINIUM METAL MATRIX COMPOSITES

Theme of a project:

Prepare a aluminum metal matrix composites by keeping base metal percentage

constant, varying the percentage of E –GLASS and FLY –ASH, hence to study the effect of

wear rate on load, velocity, time,% of E-glass and fly-ash by using DRY SLIDING WEAR

TESTING MACHINE .hence to find out a minimum wear at what % of e-glass and fly-ash at

an optimum speed and load conditions
