Technical / Special Job Responsibilities
1) Investigates equipment performance, organizes quality control practices, designs radiation installations, and implements controls for medical radiation hazards.
2) Responsible for radiation safety; designs shields for treatment rooms; ensures Radiotherapy machines are operating safely; performs machine acceptance testing.
3) Reporting the Departmental productivity and problems to higher management.
4) Commission’s new or upgraded equipment to achieve compatibility with existing.
5) Monitoring of Radiotherapy machines to ensure correct and consistent results are achieved.
6) work as a Assistant radiation protection officer (ARPO) for the implementation of radiation protocols for radiation workers and visitors
