Director of Environmental Services

JOB TARGET

SUMMARY of QUALIFCATIONS.

. Direct all Service activities for Environmental Services, Housekeeping and Building & grounds

service departments

. Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets or exceeds company’s standards

. Plan and prepare all staff and employees work schedules

. Investigate all complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action

. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in a safe and

timely manor

. Proficient in all Safety, Fire, State and all OSHA codes and regulations are followed

. Proficient with Joint Commission & JCAHO, HIPPA, HCAAP

. Expert knowledge in all Environmental Services, Housekeeping, Building Services areas Floor

care, Chemical Hygiene, MSDS material and knowledge of Blood Bourne Pathogens & all

building trades, Security, Transportation & Laundry operations

. Develop and champion Quality Control program and safety programs that will meet or exceed

company’s specifications

. Hires, Trains, manages companies discipline policy terminate members of the work force who

refuse to meet or exceed minimum job description

. Experience in negotiating with sub-Contractors to ensure that all work is done correctly an in a

timely manor

. Excellent Customer services skills

. Expert in working with people with MH/ IDD and documented disabilities

. Develop and supervise a schedule for special cleaning Windows, walls, stripping and waxing

floors and all common areas

. Ability to communicate with all senior Management

. Create and develop preventive Maintenance system to ensure all equipment is working

correctly

. Keep Environmental Services, housekeeping and Maintenance, Building & Grounds, laundry

departments functioning in a safe, sanitary manner to meet and exceed company standards.

. Work closely with Administrators and Human Resource department to solve any and all

employee grievances related to Environmental Services, Housekeeping departments

. Oversee all Administrative duties to include budge responsibilities and company P&L

. Highly Proficient in working with union & non union personnel

. Advance training in: Safety, CPR, First Aid, BBP, and Chemical through ARSC

.Implemented employee motivation program (Bright Ideas)

.Implemented employee Safety Action Team

. Proficient in managing 10 Million dollar projects

& Grounds: 500 bed Military Level 1 Trauma hospital, Also 162 Military Buildings located

. Directed Housekeeping/Building Services for 200 bed Naval Military trauma 1 LTC

hospital over 5 Million sq. ft. of housekeeping, building services provided
