Professional Experience:

1. 2012- Present "Senior Structural Engineer" (Louis Berger Group),Qatar:

As consultant engineer my responsibilities were to review the structural

shop drawings transmittals submitted by the contractor of Media College in

Qatar Foundation Project.

I inspected all structural tasks in site during ongoing construction.

I was responsible to give the approval for the contractor submittals of

concrete crushing test, water test, mortar test, material delivery and

rebar mill test.

2. 2011- 2012 "Senior Structural Engineer" (Consolidated Contractors

Company -CCC),KSA:

I was responsible to check structural design provided by Fichtner

Engineering for combined cycle plant 2700 MW buildings to make sure they

are safe and economic and conducted value engineering concepts for

overdesigned piles, raft foundation, pipelines foundations and tray

bridges.

Visited the Fichtner office in Germany to ensure that the drawings progress

is as per schedule and in line with the construction schedule requirements.

Supervised and guided engineering team while preparing shop drawings before

submitted for final approval.

Liaised with the site team and procurement department for construction

requirements, design changes and raised SCR's to clarify any discrepancies

between drawings.

Coordinated structural shop drawings with the MEP drawings and

architectural drawings to ensure that all openings, embeds and other

requirement details are achieved.

1. 2010- 2011 "Senior Structural Engineer" (BTCC), Qatar:

Guided engineering team while preparing detailed shop drawings, bar bending

o Supervised engineering team preparing detailed calculation sheet and

shop drawings of Abu Qir Thermal Power Plant buildings.

o Coordinated structural drawings and work with other construction

team and manufactures to check for discrepancies to avoid any

problems during rebar installing, concrete casting and during

installing of equipment's.

o Raised RFI's to clarify any discrepancies.

. 2005- 2009 "Structural Engineer" (The Canadian Engineers) Mississauga,

ON, Canada:

o Generated set of detailed drawings of pre-fabricated steel members

showing the proposed material, shape, size, and assembly of the parts.

Examples of these include: steel frames, trusses, stairs ladders and air

handling unit frames.

o Prepared 3D model using StruCAD for a steel head frame used in

mining industry:

. Generated detailed erection drawings and BOM of steel members.

. Generated detailed DXF files that showed the exact dimension, thickness

and the location of the holes to be drilled in shop of each

plate.

o Issued detailed drawings of an old Skip used in salt industry that showed

the exact location of holes to be drilled, their sizes and tolerances and

generated the 3D model of the new one.

o Monitored and inspected construction of steel buildings and concrete
