After a career in Professional Counseling and over 14 years as a business

owner and educator, I chose to point my skills and experience in a new

direction. I have served as a trainer for the Mercy Health System in Fort

Smith in their transition to a computer based, paperless charting system

(EPIC). I have been a part of the consulting staff for over a dozen major

Hospitals, from Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles to Bon Secours in Virginia and

from Anchorage to Arkansas. My desire is to continue to use my skills and

experience as a trainer and leader for hospitals who are looking for top

quality individuals to help them attain their goals of a smooth and

professionally managed transition.

My strength lies in understanding the key to adapting the current

workflows to the new system in such a way that the system works for the

user, not the other way around. Physicians, Nurses and other care

professionals have trained themselves in a way of observation, assessment

and treatment that needs to be honored and mirrored as close as possible

in the initial analysis and build process. My foundation in Family

Systems Therapy and leadership development has been a great resource for

my colleagues, as well as my contracting firms and their clients. As a

business owner, I understand that organizations are only as strong as how

we as consultants serve your client's needs. I believe myself to be a

sincere, loyal individual with a lifetime of integrity and high work

ethic as my core values. My maturity, leadership, education and training

experience uniquely qualify me to stand at the top within any team you

will build.

Skills and Abilities

. Proven ability in Clindoc, CPOE and Stork training for both Physicians

and Nurses serving within hospitals. My most recent emphasis has been on

personalizing the Physicians template-build skills, CPOE and helping them

utilize the system to better meet current Health Care workflow and

billing guidelines.

. Proven ability in providing elbow-to-elbow support to all clinical

personnel during multiple "go-lives".

. Provided team leadership and vital assistance to management.

. Curriculum Development based on specific client workflow

. Strong oral communication and presentation/training skills in a variety

. A lifetime of project management, coordinating, and organization skills.

. Ability to anticipate and resolve problem areas for training needs.

. Strong computer skills (MS Office-Word, Access, Excel, Quickbooks, etc.)

. Proven ability to apply Human Resource knowledge in workplace settings.
