PROFILE

I am interested in the position of Medical Assistant. I

would like to use my experience and skills to expand my

proficiency. I feel these attributes will bolster my

efforts to aid my co-workers in the accomplishments of

their job's objectives. I am in search of the right

environment to continue my expertise in the health care

field, and to adjoin any new knowledge I can attain in this

Current Health Park Hospital- Health Unit Coordinator March

2010-Present

Providing administrative and secretarial support for surgery

department. Duties included greeting and directing customers,

answering and directing telephone calls, composing and typing

messages, copying and faxing documents, recording all medical

consults and physicians orders, creation and maintaining filing

systems, punctuality, marinating medical records, and inserting

medications into the patients files.

Marshall & Ilsley Bank Customer Services Representative Aug 2006-July 2007

Act as a bank primary contact with the public. Accept

receipts & payment for negotiable instruments. Handle

clients inquire & concerns. Recognize situations that

suggest a client's need for additional services & refer

clients to the appropriate departments. Assist other bank

staff as necessary.

Ocular Technician / Donor network of Arizona-March 2006-Aug

Obtaining consent forms from next of kin, performing

medical sterilization process, followed by surgical removal

of ocular tissue for medical research or for transplant

implantation, and operating room sanitation.

Front office patient registration, scheduling appointments,

verified insurance coverage, assisted in maintaining

medical forms answering multiple phone lines. Back office:

administered manual vital signs, charting patient's medical

through different routes.

United Blood Service Laboratory Technician 2/ Certified Trainer

May 2001- May 2003

Certified trainer in blood processing procedures, and

corporate policy. I was responsible for the education of

laboratory equipment for all new hires. Constructed,

maintained, & operated standard laboratory apparatus,

prepared blood specimens to be sent out to the proper

facilities. In addition I tested, measured, recorded, &

analyzed blood from mobile units.

2005- Pima Medical Institute Mesa AZ: certified medical

assistant

2009- Southwest Florida College-Fort Myers FL: medical terminology,

computer skills course, and human anatomy.
