Project Description : National Grid (LSE: NG.; NYSE:NGG) is an

international electricity and gas company and one of the largest

investor-owned energy companies in the world. National Grid play a vital

role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across

Great Britain and northeastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe

manner National Grid owns the high-voltage electricity transmission

network in England and Wales and operates the system across Great

Britain. It also owns and operates the high pressure gas transmission

system in Britain and its distribution business delivers gas to 11

million homes and businesses. The Availability Centre scope includes 24 X

7 (including bank holidays) monitoring over 300 Applications of Windows

located on various geographic locations and all levels of support for

issues on various insurance related scripts running on the servers.

National Grid recently hand over project to IBM, with supporting the

application parallely we are working on the development to increase the

functionality and efficiency of the application.

Responsibilities :

> Developed tools on ESRI Software as per client requrenment .

> Developed a tool for a Address mapping in ASP.NET using C# .

> Creating or updating the Annotation and SDE Database. Running on the

test and produnction server.

> Data extraction in ARC-GIS and EGIS Application.

> Doing enhancement based on client/ business requiremnet.

> Managing database server and application server.

> Monitoring the application.

> Providing access, unlocking the users as per the request.

> Daily health check.

> Delivering services as per quality process and as per SLA norms

defined in project.

> Development plus 24/7 support over citrix provides great the aim of

the job create and batch job and application monitoring and

administration.

Project Name : Address Map

Technology : ASP .NET along with C#.

Role : Developer

Description : Address map provides highly responsive, intuitive mapping

interface with embedded detail street and aerial imagery data. In addition

map control can be embedded in the product to give users full control over

map navigation and display of street and imagery data. Users can also

perform map panning through the use of the 'arrow' key on keyboard as well

as by dragging the map via the mouse. All of this capability combines to

provide a compelling product.

In this project we do not need to worry about update the users address

information. we are using Google map which will provide details about

selected address. So Google map will take care for updation. This project

will reduce cost and time as well .

Professional Training:

. Successfully completed 5 days (12th Nov 2011 to 16th Nov 2011)

training on ESRI ArcGIS 10 and ArcFM 10
