2. Collect data on current processes, shop condition, equipment,

measurements, personnel, material and engineering. Initiate Corrective

tools like Root Cause Analyses, Histograms, Process Capability,

Control Charts, Brain Storming and Diagrams. Issue report on findings

and recommend Disposition. Initiate Preventive Action, Mistake Prove

remove non conformance items from in-process, purchasing and

warehouse. Respond to customer complaints, submit request for

engineering change, write up inspection plan, provide visuals to

inspection, provide matrix to stake holders, do trend analysis to

prioritize action items, call meetings to resolve issues and make

presentations.

Successfully re-engineered the small bearings machining and grinding

operations to improve quality and increase productivity. This was

accomplished by conducting studies on existing operations. The data

collected was analyzed and used to re-engineer the entire manufacturing

process. The result was the introduction of new High Speed equipment,

automated material handling and inspection, and improved packaging

system. The benefit included better quality parts and over 50% increase

in productivity.
