QUALIFICATION SUMMARY

Project: Avago Technologies (September 1st 2011- Till Date)

Current Project Profile:

The Avago WAN networks connected 10 countries and totally 23 locations. It is spread across Asia, US & Europe.

1. Data center in KC1-Singapore, DR in Fort Collins (US)

2. All sites are connected through Orange MPLS Connectivity.

3. WAN MPLS service provider is Orange for across globe connectivity.

4. All major/critical locations have dual last mile from different Service Provider for link level redundancy.

5. Internal DNS is Microsoft DNS service running in Windows 2003 and External DNS.

6. Data centers are equipped with F5 Load balancers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Providing the remote support to customer network infrastructure

2. Working on Priority 1, 2 and 3.

3. Enabling acceleration for the Subnets in Riverbed accelerator.

4. Up gradation of IOS in the Routers based on the requirement.

5. Enabled RSTP in all the new switches to avoid switching loops.

6. Coordinating with the respective channel SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) in case of help required for hands and providing feet support or help required for implementing any new network change at the client location remotely.

7. Conducting testing on end-to-end connectivity and IP Address allocation and administration.

8. Configuring in-path and peering rule in riverbed for WAN optimization.

9. Troubleshooting problems & meeting deadlines and TAT without compromising quality norms and adhering to SLA.

10. Addressing & resolving problems pertaining to performance tuning, network administration, application conflicts and system bugs.

11. Point of escalation for all types of tickets at the time of shift.

12. Attending daily status report and incident management calls with clients.

13. Efficiently utilized the NMS tools for monitoring & managing the customer network.

Project: Shopko Stores, Inc. (September 10th 2010 to August 31st 2011)

Project Profile:

1. ShopKo Stores, Inc. has 140+ stores in USA which span across 13 different states. There are three distribution centers and three general offices.

2. General office is the Datacenter where all the stores, distribution centers and other general offices connect to access various applications.

3. All offices are connecting to General office using DSL connections which terminates in General office over dedicated links.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and involved in the following activities:

1. Configuring VLAN to segment the traffic based on user requirements (Migration of Windows Servers from IBM to Fijitsu) & hard-coding the speed and duplex parameters wherever necessary.

2. Adding nodes and deleting nodes in HP OpenView.

3. Pulling reports from Riverbed Cascade Profiler and coordinating with end users on high bandwidth utilization.

4. Pulling reports from all routers & switches using Cisco Works.

5. Monitored all Network devices in HPOV.

6. Monitored the routers and switches utilization and trouble shooting.

7. Coordinated with clients for trouble tickets resolving.
