Personal Statement
I am friendly, loyal and clearly dedicated individual who has an ambition to succeed in any given environment. Although I have extensive experience in the Long Term Care industry, I love to learn my companies Nursing Systems and the expectations of that company and am always up to the challenge whatever the situation. I get along well with others and excel in Customer Service while working efficiently on my own. I am seeking a position where I can develop and excel while giving my best to an employer. I have extensive Memory Care experience with Alzheimers being the focus. I believe that mild stimulation and age appropriate activities are essential to maintaining as much independence as possible. I have been a nurse for 20 years- I am dedicated to transitioning into a MDS position and understand the dedication this position requires as well as the need to be willing to educate the staff (nurses and cna's) the requirements their position holds in getting the community their highest RUG level possible. Also, managing Medicare meeting and having a relationship with the therapy department, communication is essential. This being said care plan meetings must be handled professionally and our family members must be taken care of with respect that they deserve- if they trust us then they will trust us to take care of their loved one.
