6/2012 to 9/2012 Park Ranger Assistant for State of Oregon Coos Bay, Oregon
As a Park Ranger Asst. I checked in reservations at the camp site as well as checked in walk in campers at the
campground. This was done using the computerized system and SRE’s. I was responsible for the till from
$200.00 a day to over a $1,000, responsible for keeping the park, campground and restrooms clean and the
supplies in them stocked. In keeping the park and day use areas clean I kept it free of trash and debris, all
trash cans were emptied daily. Assisted customers with information regarding the campground, trails, and
other areas of the park. I worked on various Trails throughout the park and other Oregon State Parks. Some
of those duties include but are not limited to: tree trimming, weeding, mowing, lawns maintenance, laying
down gravel, laying down wood chips, installing new fire pits. Each night at close time I was require d to lock
down park bathrooms, garden areas and set the alarms. Assisted campers in following the rules and enforced
all park rules. Some of the tools used in the daily tasks performed are as follows; gas hedger, extended
chainsaw, hand saw, lawn mower, gas wheel barrel, weed trimmer, P.P.E., State Ve hicle (truck), 2 way radio,
basic garden tools, and computer system for camp ground.

Monitored order flow from start to finish, taught staff how to work with computer system, and how to monitor
order flow. I was the safety officer for more than two years. I was forklift certified and I trained other staff on
the forklift. I am still able to be rehired if they had an open position. I went back to work for them briefly from
12/2007 to 3/2008 when my band schedule changed.
