Human Resources Specialist 2008 to 2012

Responsible for the training, guidance, professional development, and welfare of six administrative personnel

assigned to the section. I maintained an HRIS database; tracking incoming and outgoing soldiers and all

pertaining personnel records. I worked in the In and Out Processing Section, ensuring that each family member

were in-processed in the system through finance, medical, dental, and that their records were updated. There I

received all incoming travel settlement and advance vouchers from military and civilian customers on site. I

briefed Service Members on all PCS entitlements; assisted members with filling out the travel vouchers and

reviewed forms and orders before sending vouchers electronically via authorized electronic systems. I also

received all incoming military pay documents on site. I am familiar with the policy on DFAS MyPay usage and

paperless Leave and Earnings Statement (LES). I processed military personnel actions. I checked all incoming

actions to insure that requests are prepared in accordance with existing regulations, verifying information.

Insured that personnel data cards were properly prepared and EMILPO arrival transactions were processed, and

military personnel were slotted against the unit manning table/report. I also processed Awards, Promotions,

Record updates, DEERS, financial matters, coordinating SRP’s, and USR. I reviewed documentation, and other

related information submitted by service members, evaluated reports, and imputed information into EMILPO

and EDAS, reassignments, awards, ID cards, ID tags and other personnel actions. I also handled all the visitors

and telephone calls, including high ranking military and civilian officials. I can type 40 WPM.

enjoyed helping people through consultative sales. Educated customers on the various products that AT&T had
