Design Fire Alarm Systems and Non-Water Based Suppression Systems for a variety of
different applications, including large hotels, work at United States Steel Mills and City of
Chicago Commonweath Edison power facilities, and other special hazard applications.
This work includes full design of a fire alarm system utilizing AutoCAD 2007-2010 from
device layout to construction of fire alarm panel. Non-Water Based Suppression Systems
include the design of High and Low Pressure CO2 Systems and also FM-200
Suppression Systems which involve the complete mechanical pipe design and
calculations and pipe layout also the electrical interface to the suppression system.
Overseeing the project from pre-construction to final completion by performing a variety
of project manager functions including coordination of mechanical and electrical
contractors, writing of sub-contracts, creation of system manuals and general interface
with construction/general contractors.

Created and modeled new and existing metal parts for production use. Utilizing
Solidworks to create 3D models of different parts for the RV and Machining Industries.

complex details, to allow assembly personnel to perform the manufacturing operation
quickly and accurately. This documentation is created via prototypes assemblies,
manufacturer’s literature, and guidance from engineering. The use of AutoCAD 14,
OrCAD Capture and Layout 9.0 and associated Windows 98 programs, to make changes
to existing drawings, creation of ECO’s and BOM’s and associated paperwork. Organize
and maintain the drawing files both electronic and manual.
