PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Present Integrity Parking Systems, Chagrin Falls, Ohio - Technical
Consultant
Project technical system consultant for current contracts with 3
Airports in the United States. My role today is to analyze and
review RFQ's and RFP's from various suppliers for the Airport
client, determine the best solution for the client and provide
support documentation. This may include equipment tests, site
visits, and software review and application development
capabilities of the vendor.
2010 - 2012 Zeag America, Inc, Bloomington, MN - Sales and Marketing
Manager
A Swiss company distributing very high-end complex hardware and
software parking control systems in a newly introduced USA
branch office. I was tasked with developing a domestic Dealer
network and to source direct B2B sales opportunities.
Responsible for RFQ development and all RFP's through to the
contract award process.
In 18 months, revisited their 4 existing VAR's in the US, re-
established an on-going relationship, formalized product
brochures for US market, created price books and a sales
training program. In 2011, added 4 Dealers domestically and a
dealer in Mexico.
. Responsible for sales & systems presentations to
professionals in a large audience format.
. Increased their dealer network 120% and increased sales 35%
in a very short period.
However, in 2011 Zeag was sold to an Italian industrial group,
who will merge the Swiss products into a Bulgarian parking
equipment manufacturer and create a more competitive product
line.
1999 - 2010 PTC Industries, Berea, Ohio - President
Responsible for managing 40 employees at the peak period, all
facets of the business operations, outside tax and legal
professionals, and contributing to the sales team as a closer
for strategic negotiations.
. Annual sales increased during this period an average of 12%
. EBITA was a consistent 8% and peaking at nearly 15%. Of
course there were significant projects that may have
crossed over into 2 fiscal periods since the nature of our
business was strongly related to the long bond and
construction industry cycles.
. Negotiated partnerships worldwide with OEM's and VAR's for
distribution to support the growth over the years.
. Initiated B2B sales and service depots around the US for
direct sales contracts to both municipal and institutional

1990 - 1999 PTC Industries, Berea Ohio - Vice President
Created the PTC Industries manufacturing brand/logo and began
manufacturing a comprehensive parking, revenue and vehicle
access control product line to compete for middle market sales
opportunities through an established domestic and international
dealer network.
. Initiated new sales to Dept of Defense, Dept. of State, &
The National Security Agency for "Anti-terrorists Crash
Barricade Systems" and OEM perimeter security equipment for
worldwide US flag installations from 1990 thru 1995.
Sales grew from $0 to $12 million annually within 5 years.
. Introduced RFID in 1993 into the access control, parking
and Ski industry through a purchase partnership with the US
Department of Defense.
. Success in the Ski market when I presented to St. Moritz
(the Engadine region) to create a one pass concept for
ticketing and electronic purse money management. Entirely
new concept and eventual sale for 4.5 million CHF in 1995.
. Also presented for a very early introduction for a parking
RFID "electronic purse" concept. Shared RFID technologies
with domestic and European companies to create strong
positions in diverse market sectors. Sales increased an
average of 30% per year to annual sales of $6 million
dollars.
. Developed a partnership with a Swiss based engineering
company to private label a competitive higher-end parking
control system for distribution throughout the US. Sold
systems directly in Miami, New York, Cleveland, Denver, Los
Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. Average sales price
was in the area of $1 million to $6.5 million.
. Created PTC Industries de Venezuela - as a local sales and
service organization in Caracas Venezuela to develop
distribution channels throughout Central and South America.
Private labeled all products to the local PTC brand,
political and military projects and grew the company from
$250k per year to nearly $4 million in 18 months. Business
closed upon a military takeover of the country at the end
of 1998.
1989 - 1990 Parking & Traffic Control Security Inc., Berea Ohio - Vice
President
Sold my ownership shares of APE/CPE assets back to Canadian
ownership and re-established as an on-going corporation in Ohio.
Acquired electronics assembly devices, plant machinery and
created an engineering team to begin manufacturing a complete
parking system product line. Obtained copyright and trade marks
for various processes have and established the manufacturing
division known as PTC Industries.
1983 -1989 American Parking Equipment, Toronto Canada - Plant Manager
Merged our family business P&TC Inc. operations and assets with
& Canadian Parking Equipment supplier for local and US domestic
assembly and distribution throughout the United States.
Initiated private label marketing for various OEM groups.
Expanded export sales of the America Parking Equipment brand.
. Developed both domestic and international sales from $800k
to $6 million within 5 years and established the domestic
dealer network model and export distribution channels into
9 countries.
1980 -1983 Parking & Traffic Control Security Inc., Cleveland Ohio - Vice

Startup business with my father as a local sales & service
organization for parking control systems in the Ohio market.
Expanded our distributor role of OEM's for various parking &
access control products in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and
Indiana.
