Fluent (verbal and written) in English and Chinese (Mandarin and
Cantonese).
. While growing up in southeastern part of China, the Southern Fujian
dialect (also know as Taiwanese) was my first spoken language.
. Through out my primary and secondary educations, Chinese Mandarin was
the official language. And during the last 11 years, half of the work
force of the company that I worked for was in China; Mandarin was
heavily used on the daily basis.
. Due to family members' preferences, Cantonese and English are the
languages used at home.

. Although I have not worked as a translator or interpreter for a
living. They have always been part of my live. In addition, I taught
Mandarin to my colleagues at work for a while, interpreted English
pastors' sermons into Mandarin once a month for a couple of years, and
interpreted Mandarin speaking pastor's sermons for Cantonese speaking
congregation for a few years.
