As I pursue a career in science, my aspiration is to become a specialist in research. My

undergraduate career has provided me with foundational skills needed to evaluate, tackle,

and succeed in the various venues of the sciences. I believe that research is of the utmost

importance and I am excited at any and every opportunity in which I can exercise my skills

and knowledge. I believe it is only with sound research, coupled with an attitude of interest,

fuelled by passion, that one can make a substantial impact in the world of medicine. It is

with this combination of curiosity, optimism and dedication that I intend to contribute to
