WORK EXPERIENCE:
Plainfield School District 202 - Plainfield IL - (August 2008- July 2010)
• Senior Administrative Assistant/Building Secretary - responsible for confidential and
sensitive administrative details providing support for Senior Administration, implemented school
registration process for new students, assisted visitors, directing people to the appropriate departments,
prepared variety of technical reports, presentations for senior management, invoices, correspondence,
detail data entry, filing and directed phone calls of the main switchboard. Assisted staff and parents in
interpreting and enforcing district and state policies, worked closely with district office and other schools
within the district. Collaborated on statistical data collection and retrieval for district and state reporting,
managed employee payroll, processed accounts payable, maintained school budget. Daily entry of
employee attendance; ensured school fully staffed at all times (substitute and full-time teachers). Served
on the Band Booster committee, coordinated fundraisers and community outreach programs with parents
and students. Liaison to school Administrative staff, arranging appointments for external vendors and
visitors, providing a positive relationship, assisted faculty with various assistance as needed.

• Administrative Assistant, School Management - responsibilities organization and compilation of
student’s official confidential educational records, which included registered and updated required
information for school district and state reporting. Composed correspondence, reports and
memorandums, managed monthly budget, purchase ordered supplies for the school. Ensured school fully
staffed at all times (substitute and full-time teachers), managed of employee attendance and provided in
classroom assistance when needed. Responsible for incoming phone inquiries, followed district and state
policies and operations, managed daily the employee payroll and accounts payable, scheduled meetings
for the staff. Greeted visitors, checked emails, prepared and sent out mailings of various information to

U.S. Army General Depot, Department of Logistics, Giessen Germany ( October 2000-September 2002)
• Management and Operations Assistant- responsible managing and posting bi-weekly
schedule of employees, supported the post military logistical division of transportation and food services
to the troops. Composed correspondence, memorandums, data entry, generated reports from various
technical sources, met deadlines, assisted the military post diverse command levels when there was
shortage of personnel and troops, made sure the logistical department was operating properly, interacted
with community and providing a positive relationship. Responsible for answering and enforcing queries
related to management processes, employee payroll, accounts payable, administrative details involving
employee/management relations, audits of records. Assisted and trained new personnel, ordered and
maintained supplies as needed. Received, greeted visitors and checked emails.
