Directed development and construction of neighborhood shopping center
projects throughout Midwest and southern states, ranging in value from $23M

. Championed impressive completion of $28M ground-up retail and civil
development project with optimal rate of return. Project, which
consisted of Target Department store and 7 junior anchors totaling 168K
square feet and 37K square feet of small retail shops, was completed
within tenant turnover deadlines and established budget. No liquidate
damaged or delay claims were incurred.
. Controlled operations for 600K square feet ground-up retail and civil
development project including 3 major anchor pad turnovers, 2 ALDOT
highway road improvements, and earthwork for displacing 3M cubic yards
of existing slope--balancing earth onsite.

Charged with guiding all construction, budgets, and project management of
22 shopping malls ranging in value from $100K to $70M in capital
expenditures. Controlled site construction operations for multiple
projects, interfacing with senior management and team members to identify
schedule / budget problems and issues and propose value engineering
solutions. Achieved approvals for re-zoning, building, site variances, and
easement requests and ensured compliance with local city ordinances.
Analyzed monthly project job cost reports and prepared variance reports for
senior executives. Performed on-site inspections of field conditions and
project documentation / reporting. Interfaced with external consultants,

expansion of Market Place Mall, completing project on-schedule and
within-budget. Project included 35K square feet food court, 60K square
feet retail expansion, and pad delivery for new Famous Barr Department
store.
. Completed $45M 2nd-floor, 85K square feet addition to Mayfair Shopping
Mall, guiding project operations and ensuring customer safety while
mall continued to operate. Demonstrated ability to coordinate
communications and activities with representatives from existing major
department stores and retail tenants.
. Strengthened company's operations and profits by effectively guiding
complex mall renovation project in New Hampshire which included new
food court and exterior entrances, major anchor pad delivery, and
complete revamping of all life safety systems. Also completed
remodeling of interior finishes. Received "Project of the Year" award
