Thesis: Process Optimization of novel Silver-SU8 composite material for MEMS
• Prepared Silver-SU8 conductive polymer composite for MEMS applications using UV lithography
techniques .The aim was to optimize the process steps for patternability and conductivity of the composite
polymer. Effect of different heat treatments, mixing methods and percentage loading of filler has been
experimented. Composite elemental analysis and electrical characterization have been carried out.
Graduate Projects:
• Design of Solar Air Dryer
Using CATIA, modeled solar Air dryer with all glass solar panel and loading plate design. Final product has
14% more drying efficiency than current market product for the same range of loading capacity.
• FEA Analysis & Design of ETPA (Epidural Thermal Posterior Annuloplasty) Device
Prepared an analytical model of ETPA device by using COMSOL Multiphysics FEA package to find out
thermal constant (K) value for better insulating material and analyzed the temperature distribution.
• Design of Energy Park
The aim of the project was to design an eco friendly- energy park to demonstrate the best efficiency out of all
the resources used in consideration of heat regeneration. Energy paucity was filled by the CHP (Combined
heat and power) system.
• Design mask for RF MEMS Switch based on Poly MUMPS process
Using CoventerWare, prepared mask layout, had side fingers and top fingers as diversity between designs.
Knowledge of cell hierarchy, mirror, pattern and reference features.
