To Whom It May Concern:

Here is how I can help your company - what I bring to your table:

. A successful career in journalism, one in which I followed the family

footsteps, including managing the family newspaper operation when my father

was President of the National Newspaper Association, and while he was a

Visiting Professor of Journalism.

. I served as Editor in Chief for a magazine/newspaper group in Chicago and

suburbs. I bring that experience to help your company get the news, or it's

message, out every day, every hour, every segment.

. Perhaps the best example of my skills is the recent Arizona Wallow Fire,

during which even fire officials pointed to our Website as the most

accurate and up to date.

. I took our publications to desktop publishing in 1987, and onto the Web

as early as 1999, so I have a fine appreciation for, and experience in,

that communication form. I have always pushed staff towards more tech-savvy

information gathering.

. We write and edit for the Web every hour of every working day.

With my family grown and living in other states, I am free to work whatever

hours are required in the office. I work best under tight deadlines.

I am available to interview at your convenience, and would like to show you

how I will contribute to your company's goals.

I thank you in advance for your help and await your reply.

Sincerely,

David Roberts
