fix. Analysis led to a vendor re-design.

manufacturing costs and lead time.
. Designed merchandising solutions for a bakery display, which yielded
20% more product display area for specialty products with a smaller
footprint.
. Designed shelving unit for a Convenience Store Chain to triple product

. Worked with Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline manufacturing,
reduce inventory and reduce lead times by up to 60%.
. Designed new line of straight and curved glass deli cases ranging from
4', 6', 8' and 10' in length from concept, prototyping, testing and
into production.
- Realized $160 savings per unit by designing a custom thermoformed
tub in place of a metal tub and brackets.
- The self-contained units included a hot gas loop for condensate
evaporation.
- Design also included refrigerated drawers without additional

. Collaborated with one of the 7 divisions to get prototypes made from my

- Worked with the model shops and designers to assemble prototypes and
test to the customer's specifications.
- Presented the prototype to the customer and worked through rigorous
test procedures with products to achieve desired results.
. Lead member of the design team for a high speed convection/microwaves
oven for a major fast food chain with a potential of $75 Million in
sales.
- Traveled internationally working with major fast food chains in
developing their specific products in the high speed oven.
- Developed strong affiliation with IMPI (International Microwave
Power Institute) and its affiliates working with the staff using
microwave modeling at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
. Designed and managed a tabletop double clamshell Griddle project for
Taco Bell, working with our Nevada business unit, supervising
construction and initial production from design.

refrigerants and arranged for the staff to receive certification in
using the recovery systems.
. Designed ventless hood and interface to a Combi oven upon which a

. Designed a pass-through 2 tier heated open deli for use in supermarkets

. Developed new controls with the on-staff electronics engineers
