. Developed and implemented a new strategic International Lead Logistic

single source solution by combining the production control follow up,
freight forwarding, dray moves, tracking and tracing, customs and
electronic data interchange (EDI) functions which are all integrated into
the Chrysler centralized material control systems.
. Supported the Purchasing Department and each Platform Team as the Supply
lead to examine all international supply concerns when investigating non
NAFTA supply sources, commodity sharing initiatives and non traditional
supply sources. Major components taken under consideration were all
associated supply risks, door to door transportation costs, inventory
carrying costs, additional warehouse operations, customs and duty fees,
re-pack functions, cross-dock expenses and sequencing costs.
. Assisted in developing a non-NAFTA supply policy to aid the Purchasing
Department when negotiating with foreign sources. This policy promoted
the incoterms best suited for Chrysler import supply activities. The
concerns of invoicing and payment in a foreign currency with first tier
suppliers also addressed.
