equipment specifications for procurement activities. Developed and prepared
Source Surveillance Inspection Plans and provided support during reviews at
supplier facilities. Coordinated and/or conduct source surveillances to

Conduct surveillance of equipment at supplier plants for use at South
Korean Nuclear Power Plants. Surveillance activities included; witness and
verification of special processes including welding, testing, non-
destructive examination (liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and x-ray)
manufacturing and inspection operations; final inspection of equipment,
packaging and preparation for shipment and the review of document status
and quality records. Surveillances performed at Edward Valve, Atwood and
Morell, General Electric and Cutler Hammer to overview the manufacture of
main steam isolation valves, bleeder trip valves, excitation systems and
motor control centers. Surveillance visits are also made to verify
preparation and packaging of equipment for overseas shipment at State Port,
Wilmington, NC.
Assigned to the Commonwealth Edison Quality Engineering offices in Downers
Grove, IL, to conduct an independent review of all corporate and plant
procedures to verify compliance with commitments in the Quality Assurance
Program. Developed a Review Matrix to capture all instructions/procedures
and record results. .Assisted the preparation of a Summary Report for
presentation to the client.
